Trades and Services Terms & Conditions

1) As a member of community Savers you agree to provide good service and quality products at a fair price and not to undertake any malpractice or bad workmanship that will bring us or any other business advertising on our site in to disrepute intentionally or by way of association.

 

2) You will provide us with 2 references from customers who can confirm your good workmanship, high standard of work and that you have provided good value for money and that you have given great customer satisfaction.

 

You will need to provide us with, via our website or by post, their name, address and contact telephone number with a brief description of the work you carried out and when.  We will then contact both of your references and verify that you standard of work is up to the standard we expect of all our trades and service providers.  Only once we have confirmation that you work is at a very high standard and you have shown regard to your customers request we will then advertise your business on our site as a trusted trader of Community Savers.  If we don’t receive satisfactory references we will not advertise you on our site and return your money.

 

Once you have been successful getting your own web page on our site we will continue to monitor your performance by requesting feedback from any of your customers.  We encourage you to ask your customers to send us feedback on your work so that we can add these to your testimonials on our site so that other can see that you are providing good customer service.

 

3) Any trade or service that can provide proof of achieving the “Trade with confidence” rosette will be permitted to state this in your business write-up.

 

4) In the event of us receiving a complaint or any negative feedback we will investigate by contacting the customer and establishing what the problem is.  We will then contact you to try and resolve the issue.

 

5) If at any time, we find that there has been any malpractice or bad workmanship we will notify you that we intend to suspend your webpage until it is resolved.  The suspension will continue until we are satisfied that you have rectified the outstanding issues.

 

If we need to suspend or remove you from our site due to continued reports of bad workmanship or malpractice you will not be entitled to any refund from us on any outstanding period left on your payment term.

 

6) If you decide to offer our members any type of discount, you agree to accept the Community Savers discount Card from our members.  You don’t have to offer a discount to our members but we believe it could encourage our members to select your business over another.  Any discounts offered must be genuine and be off material products like parts or any advertised prices.  You will not be allowed to offer discount on labour charges unless your charges are advertised.

 

7) If you have your own website, you agree to add a web link on your site back to Community Savers.
